The Story

Group therapy, with a pot.

Everyone carries a story they can’t tell at dinner. The ex who needed “space to find himself” and found himself in your best friend’s apartment. The boss. The roommate. The family group chat. Carried alone, these stories get heavier every year.

@Toxic is where you put them down. Behind a generated alias — VelvetRaccoon482, at your service — with no photos, no bios, no followers to perform for, you tell it exactly how it happened. The community answers with flames: one to five burns for the stories that are too real, too funny, too unbelievable not to share.

And here is the twist that makes it more than venting: half of every membership flows back into a monthly pot, paid out to the best storytellers in every arena as Mental Health Compensation — because your ex never paid for your therapy, but the audacity you survived can. The boards wipe clean on the 1st. New month, new pot, new chance.

It sounds chaotic. It is. It is also gentler than it looks: healing cards between stories, one-tap support when words fail, and the @ME arena — “plot twist: I’M the toxic one” — where the winners don’t keep the money at all. They pass it to someone who needs it more. Laughing at the wound isn’t denial. It’s how you disarm it.

Vent it. Heal it. Get compensated.

What you get

01

Anonymous by construction

Sign in with Apple, receive an alias. No usernames, no photos, no bios — your story stands on its own, and so does your privacy.

02

Eight arenas

Partner ❤️‍🔥, Ex 💔, Friend 🥂, Boss 💼, Coworker 🖇️, Family 🏠, Roommate 🧦 — and @ME 👿, for when the plot twist is you.

03

Burns, not likes

Stories are rated one to five flames by the community. Quality and audacity rise; clout-chasing doesn't survive the wipe.

04

The monthly pot

Half of all membership money returns to the community. Top five stories per arena split it — paid out as Mental Health Compensation.

05

The @ME clause

Confess that you were the toxic one and win? You don't keep a cent — you redirect the payout to members who earned it by enduring people like you.

06

The healing layer

Healing moments woven through the feed, one-tap support chips, and a monthly reset that keeps no wound on display forever.

Built by Murmillo — no ads, no dark patterns, no compromise.
